Munshi Premchand was an Indian writer, famous for his many novels and short stories, plays. specially in Hindi literature. in India and abroad, premchand is famous and was pioneer of Hindi and Urdu social fiction. his works like Godaan, karmaboomi, gaban included themes around caste hierarchies, women hardship and typical laborer's environment prevalent in societies of late 1880s India.
so every year, on 31st July, Premchand birthday celebrated as the day of Hindi and Urdu writers. so keeping that in mind, in our school , we encouraged staff teacher to read about Premchand books by issuing books to them and discussing his works.
